Mikkel Bækgaard, photographer

I’m a professional food, people and restaurant photographer based in the greater Copenhagen Area. I shoot both editorial and commercial work, ranging from restaurants and cafés to magazines and some of Denmark’s largest newspapers.

My focus is on capturing spirit and atmosphere, making the subject come to life no matter if it’s a plate of food, a dining hall, or a person being photographed. I shoot on location as well as in my home studio in Mårum, North Zealand, Denmark.
